Product Strategy Sprint
A consequential product decision needs to be resolved.
The primary entry point. One decision, framed and tested against the evidence that matters, ending in a recommendation the leadership team can act on.
ScaleCraft helps founders turn competing priorities, customer signals and strategic assumptions into clearer product decisions before expensive execution begins.
The hard part is not prioritisation. It is the moment an assumption quietly becomes a roadmap commitment before the evidence justifies it.
Three accounts asked for granular permissions.
Two lost deals cited it in the post-mortem.
Enterprise is this year's growth priority.
A competitor shipped something adjacent.
It touches the permissions model everywhere.
“We should build enterprise permissions this quarter.”
The evidence required should be proportional to the consequence of the decision.
Move fast on cheap, reversible calls — the cost of being wrong is a week. Slow down where the commitment is expensive and hard to unwind, and insist on stronger evidence before the team is pointed at it.
Separating the three is usually the fastest route to a better decision.
A focused engagement that applies Frame → Expose → Validate → Commit to one consequential product question — roadmap direction, a new capability, positioning and target customer, expansion of an existing proposition, or two strategic priorities competing for the same team.
The evidence supports the investment. Proceed deliberately.
The bet is plausible; one or two assumptions still carry it.
The real decision turned out to be a different one.
The evidence does not justify the commitment.
The promise is decision clarity — not guaranteed validation.
Customer pain
Is there repeated evidence that the problem actually matters?
Buyer commitment
Is there credible evidence someone will pay, or otherwise commit?
Strategic relevance
Does solving it materially support revenue, retention or expansion?
Differentiation
Does it create real separation, or answer a demonstrated reason for losing?
Feasibility
Can it be delivered, adopted and supported at acceptable cost and risk?
Reversible
Low cost to unwind
Costly

Roadmap-defining
A consequential product decision needs to be resolved.
The primary entry point. One decision, framed and tested against the evidence that matters, ending in a recommendation the leadership team can act on.
The company needs experienced product leadership over a longer period.
For when product decisions need to be carried through execution and learning rather than handed over at the recommendation. Senior product leadership over a longer engagement, typically a quarter or more.
The team does not need a PM yet, but it does need product operating discipline.
Enough discipline to keep priorities, evidence and decisions from becoming ad hoc: decision rights, roadmap and prioritisation practice, customer evidence loops, and planning and review rhythms — without prematurely adding product-management headcount.
ScaleCraft brings senior product operating experience across enterprise B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, platforms and APIs, AI-enabled products, and products moving from zero to one and on into larger organisations. The judgment comes from making and carrying consequential product decisions, not from advising teams about them from a distance.

You do not need to have diagnosed the engagement. Describe the decision or the situation in front of you, and we will work out together whether it calls for a focused Product Strategy Sprint, longer-term Fractional Product Leadership, Product Systems support, or no ScaleCraft engagement at all.
